  • What does research say about diversity in groups? What can we learn from it? How can we use the lessons we learn in our work with diversity and inclusion?

Session 2 – Unconscious bias

During the second session, we’ll delve into unconscious bias and examine how it affects us at work. We’ll also look at how unconscious bias is closely linked to gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

  • What is unconscious bias? How does the brain work and how can it can subconsciously influence us to make (significantly) worse decisions in a variety of situations at work? What is “noise” and how does it affect decision-making?
  • ”Brain pitfalls” to avoid.
  • Tips, activities and checklists to reduce the risk of making decisions based on unconscious bias – as it relates to non-discrimination, gender equality, diversity and inclusion.
